About Me

Hi my name is Joanne Davies, I am a certified Clinical & Holistic Complementary Health Practitioner, based at Risca Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic, just outside of Newport, South Wales UK.

I trained at Inspira Academy, graduating with a Centralia Mastership in Reflexology Level 5 Diploma, which is the highest level achievable in the UK. I have been taught the advanced, innovative technique of Duopody, NEPIP for stress management, CALM & Chakra Balancing, together with specialties in Fertility, Pregnancy, Children, Palliative & Cancer Care, Orthopody and Sportsflex Reflexology.

Enhancing my practice with VTCT Level 3 Swedish Body Massage & Thermal Stone Therapy. ITEC Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift, Indian Head Massage, Soft Body Cupping, Facial Cupping, Warm Bamboo Massage, Hot Stones Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Auricular Therapy and Usui Reiki Level 3.

I am a registered practitioner and a member with the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Where Do I Practice Reflexology

I am based at Risca Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic, located in Risca, just off Junction 28 of the M4, South Wales, UK, but also offer wellness events and corporate packages on request.

I am passionate about about holistic therapies and their many health benefits. I use a variety of clinical and holistic techniques, I believe that every individual is unique and my approach is to tailor treatments to your individual needs.

Professional Development

I am committed to continual professional development, and I have added to my initial studies of Reflexology to include, Hot Stone Reflexology, Thai Foot and Leg Massage, Ear Auricular Therapy, Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift, Facial Cupping, Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Thermal Stone Therapy, Usui Reiki I & II, Crystal Reflexology, with further additional specialist skills being continually added.

My Personal Journey

And finally a little about me, in my personal life; I am 43 years of age, with over two decades of working in Business Management & Administration for public, private, third party and corporate sectors. I live with my husband, my cat and a dog in Risca, Gwent.

I have my my own ailments and was diagnosed with a neurological condition in my early 20's. I tried reflexology and massage many years ago for pain relief and relaxation, and I was amazed how relaxed and at ease I felt afterwards.

So after a very long journey of self discover, I have now expanded my life's adventure by pursuing my lifelong passion in holistic health & wellbeing. I am committed to helping others where I can as a holistic practitioner. I have truly found that holistic therapies leaves me feeling relaxed & energised & focused on dealing with life's challenges along the way!

I hope to help other people in their own personal situations whether it be stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, grief, relaxation, improving, sleep, managing pain or just pure indulgence of relaxation & me-time.
